Re: North Carolina
Boy, are you in for a surprise.  But then, I like Jimmy Carter.  He was a good president; he left us a lot less debt than his successor.  And didn't fund quite as many future terrorists (though he was a supporter of the Shah, and that was a bad choice.)  But if Reagan had followed Carter's energy policies, like he followed Carter's anti-inflation policies and defense spending increases, we'd all be much better off.  I look forward to a nice 4 (or 8) years.

Thanks, davideskin, for your insights and wisdom.

North Carolina
True, the last time my state of North Carolina voted for a democrat for president was in 1976 to be exact, 32 years ago. Yes, it was Jimmy Carter. We all know how he was as president, a joke! I guess that means that public memory here is good for 32 years only. If we choose Hussein Obama as president as he is elected then he will make Jimmy Carter look like the greatest president in U.S. ever. If Hussein is elected, we will then hope we coudl change it to Jimmy Carter. All of you little young voters out there who insist on being taught a lesson will truly be taught one, then hopefully we can go another 32 years before we make another stupid mistake.
