malcolm, I don't really know anything about England except for what I read, and what I see in movies or such, but your post made me think of a movie that I just loved and would like to see again.  "Howard's End" made me want to know more of that part of England.

Woodlands and lush green fields embrace for I live in the desert now! I love my desert but there are times I long for the lushness of green too! Great descriptive work! sam
