That would have been a sight to see--the whole thing.   I never thought about tenting when I was in Paris.  I did see some apparently homeless men sleeping in le parc de chien.

Naut
.... as some of the others have said "way, too funny"..... I never knew/read that the guy likes his tents and travels with a harem.

That whole incident reads like a skit from Saturday Night Live.
I guess it's true: you can't make this stuff up.  I imagine it will be a bit chilly in Hyde Park by next month when the Libyan royals visit. And damp. The whole thing may be a non-issue by the time the tents unfold...

O, those tent poles! This was too funny! I bet it was a sight! lmao Shelly I have your site promoted again. I refrain from promotions while I am attending to the Lord's day!

I laughed at this man's lunacy only because I am reading it and not thinking of his horror side. You find the most entertaining things. Have a good week.

Nautikos
Yes, I was serious about subscribing.....first laugh I've had all day!  It was a bruiser, but not the kind I just envisioned the "harumbaguards" enduring when the tents fell....now that's some kind of dancin'!!!!!....er, I mean guarding......the rich really ARE different, aren't they?
