I think Lotus Flower
has it right. I've been soul searching for what feels like most of my life. I do have days when I can just enjoy the sunshine on my face and the wind in my hair but then my mind kicks in to find things to worry about. I hope you find fortitude ahead.

Sorry for you're losses
Having just gone through 2 losses, I find it easier to think of death as a transition to another form on another plane. We are energy and energy cannot be destoryed; it only changes form. Our bodies are merely suitcases for our souls. I am posting a poem for you on Caregiver's Thoughts.skye

I'm sorry for the loss of your friends. I understand how you feel about the fact that you didn't really think that it was really leading to the end so soon. We all know that we are here for only a short time, but if we always think that the end could be close, then we can not live our life to the fullest. When you are young you think you are going to live forever - isn't that a wonderful feeling? That is the way it should be. Now we are looking forward to retirement, to have the time to do the things and to go places we have longed for all those years with hard work and routines and commitments. What a shame that they did not have that time. I would feel cheated... So all you can do really, is to enjoy what you have - here and now.
