I admit it. I expect to vote for Barrack Obama. I like him and some of his policy proposals, though I am concerned about his rather short record of legislative accomplishments. But I dislike most of McCain's proposals, and I can't stand Bob Barr. But I haven't decided all my votes in the down ticket races.

I suspect myself of Libertarian tendancies, too
but this year we mostly have to get the Republicans out of the White House, and that means voting Democratic. This time.
But working harder to make a Libertarian candidate a viable front-runner could be just the thing to do over the next 4 years. Possibly 8.
Now I am going to go talk about kid-sex in my Loosely Speaking blog...

In the Abstinence Only sex Ed class my daughter had, she was told condoms don't protect against HIV. I had to look up studies to show her the truth. I suggested she share those papers with her teacher, but she replied, "Why? They won't care. They're not goiing to change their curriculum just because they're wrong." She was right, of course.

Actually, education is the only safe way to learn about sex these days.
And what used to be merely "immoral" or exploratory, in light of HIV/AIDS is now a deadly risk that can shorten and ruin life for everyone concerned. What a short-sighted and self-defeating article. Don't they realize they're removing their kind from the gene pool?
