I completely agree with Pat B: let girls be girls! They'll be women early enough!

I like to see little kids in jeans and tee shirts, running around on
playgrounds, riding bikes, swinging on monkey bars. I like to see them discover duck's nests and their eyes light up when ducklings hatch. I like to watch tee ball and baseball and soccer games, and to see them play tag and hide-and-seek. I like to see older kids, "tweens" still doing kid things, enjoying childhood, learning give and take in games. I absolutely detest seeing little kids done up in seductive outfits that invite a loss of innocence, making them targets for adult pervs. Let 'em enjoy being free souls -- they take on the adult stuff soon enough.

I think these mothers should get their heads examined.  Are they in some hurry to be grandparents, or something?

Makes me sad...
My mom was more sensible.  She told me I couldn't have a bra until I had something to put into one.

It's sad really the early sexualisation of young kids.  In New Zealand girls as young as 9 now have a vaccine to immunise them againgst cervical cancer.  One of the causes of cervical cancer being sex at a young age coupled with multiple partners, most of it unprotected sex because abortions and the morning after pill is freely available.  It's a sad downward spiral.
