Marvellous! You have beautifully expressed something that is probably a universal experience - I think 'being lost in thought' is a necessary, occasional 'time out', a 'refreshing', even a 'renewal'...

Although I’ve not read Taps post (which presumably inspired this), I was quite taken with the second verse. It spoke to me perhaps because I am happy quite alone in that world all my own. Not many people are comfortable in their own skin, lost in their own throughts, or at ease with being alone. Well done!
