Beautiful and very touching. And, like Troosh, I was also impressed with the subtle, but critical distinction you draw between simply describing what you see and hear, and describing the
feelings evoked by your perceptions...

She understood that I wrote not about what I saw, or heard, or felt
but about what I felt when I saw or when I heard. That describes such an iimportant and yet tiny distinction so perfectly!!!!! I bet she still knows, still reads, and still understands.

I guessed straightaway that you were talking about your mum. I miss mine too, it's six months now that she is gone. I wrote a poem about her eyes when she was dying.

I'll just bet your mom knew exactly the kind of wonderful artistic soul she had given birth to luv. I thought of my deceased wife Joyce when I read that and it was comforting because I know she'd be happy for me with Kabu and our love.

Love to ya from us kiddo.

That's your mother you're talking about?
I wish that my mother who is no more now, were here and I know she would have known about my writings in the way you said.
