My husband had the same problems with his back. After a year and a half of gradually getting worse, his back was dislocating and surgery was eminent. He is doing much better now 10 years after the surgery, he is walking but still has pain. If he hadn't opted for surgery Dr.'s said he definitely would not be walking today. He said if he had it to do over again he would do the same thing even though the recovery process was so hard.
