I have hospice coming in and a caregive assist to help me around the house but the hour here and there I get are ate up when I have to get up every night at 3AM. He also won't allow anyone but me to help him except his bath aide. Last week when Tom was here, he wouldn't let Tom help him get up. Said he didn't know how. Tom is a RN also.

at this time you may need more help to care others, and may be you need a
break......see all options, sometimes we are not capable of providing all the care our dear one's needed....may be think of some vising nurses or aides come home for few hours....it might give you a break for few hours which you deserve...
