and maybe even got a start on how to quit before "the last dog dies." Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've avoided reading you because of the title of your blog "god-damned genius." The genius thing is fun, but there's this old caution I learned at Grandma Lucy's knee about the lord's name in vain... so much for that. You're on my must see list.

I'm the opposite. If whatever it is I'm watching takes a boring or tiresome turn I can simply move on and not a single thought is given to how it might have ended. Show me a bad TV show or a less than engaging movie and I'm outta there in a hearbeat.

that is so so funny - i am the same way. especially with bad made for tv movies - i have to watch it until the end. did i turn off the curling iron?? i also have OCD and I passed it on to my children unfortunately - so the holidays are a gas!!!
