Routines are comforting. Just as children seem to thrive when there are boundaries, even adults prefer the "definined" or the known.

I guess doing the routine is not about not going outside the comfort zone,
so long as besides the routine or within the routine, one does things thinking out of the book

It's a Bad Thing
Well I think its a bad thing, but does it stop me from doing the same thing over and over again? No. One of my favorite artists Trent Reznor, who is the singer for Nine Inch Nails, has a song and the chorus is "Everyday is exactly the same" when I listen to that song it tends to be depressing, because its so true.
