I liked this story! I don't put much stock in demons myself! sam

Actually it was a real UFO, technically speaking, as it was to you an unidentified flying object . . . but I know what you mean.

Re: I've never been scared of a dog in my life but I told you a year or more
Kabu - I vaguely remember you relating your encounter. Was it a demon sitting on someone else's shoulder, in a kitchen cupboard or at the top of the stairs? All three were related to me in comments by people insisting that I was wrong in my stance that these things do not exist. Not being there, of course I cannot accurately say what transpired in your case but it is very likely that one of a few common circumstances were in place.
An optical illusion or a hallucination are too simple of explanations for people who believe that they have seen something but one of these is the most likely. A hallucination is probably the more common occurrence, as the stimulation needed for the human mind to visualize something of this nature exists naturally in our environment. A guess at what may have taken place in your case would be a change in ambient electro-magnetic energy. This is a known, proven and scientifically tested means of producing hallucinations and a feeling of a sensed presence in humans.
Most people react with anger, or at the very least some resistance, when offered something as plausible as this as an explanation, a reaction I've never quite understood. If it comes down to a choice between the vague mythologies of demonology and a real scientific explanation, the majority of people dismiss the tangible scientific explanation in favor of demonology.

ago I think that I did experience something really evil once and I try never to let my mind go there again. But that optical illusion was real neat.
I remember once the piano playing in our house. No one but me at home. I was terrified until the house cat walked out of the room! Such things leave one sceptical forever afterwards as once a fool is enough. Cheers.
