Computers can offer so much in a sense, like storing pictures of yourself and family and friends, but handwritten letters places a piece of your soul in ink, and surely it will last forever.

funny I was thinking the same thing two days ago when I emailed a friend. my emails will be the only things left of my thoughts when Im gone. No letters with my personal handwriting and at the press of a delete button all that can be gone....

I guess so, but I don't think I've reached that level on what others might call a masterpiece and I haven't created anything original yet. But I keep it up during my rest days and such just to keep my hands from molding, usually just going through the basics.

It's a dying art, alright and you should be proud of yourself for keeping it up. I express my gratitude, affection, or love to friends and family by writing them a poem and putting it in a small frame. They always seem to be tickled pink when I do this....

Of course all my letters are sent out via regular mail and no way I'll be able to get a copy, but I'll probably write my next log in handwriting, scanned and place it as a hyperlink for all to see. How's that?
