Re: Re: Re: Good intentions
I agree with you.The correct way to live is to stand up for good but not to be consumed by anger.

Re: Re: Good intentions
I'm not talking about silly things like being cut off in traffic or having a difference in opinion but about stopping murderers, rapists and warmongers etc.  One can stop someone from being harmful without getting consumed by anger, being attached to your opinion or insisting on your right of way in traffic.

Re: Good intentions
I agree with most of everything you have said. Balance is the key to a meaningful life. Compassion does need to be stern-we can't sit around meditating when there is work to do. I whole heartedly agree we must take action to help the innocent. I would like to  suggest the best way to stop a murderer is to first arrest them and put them behind bars. Lets use a small example of forgiveness-say i was driving and someone cut me off and flipped me off-I would choose not to follow them and show them the right way-I would choose to let it go, now am I being evil? Lastly if you and I disagree would you feel so angry that you would want to fight me until I only had one opinion and that is your opinion. Many of my close frieonds (at first)disagree with my thoughts, feelings, and intentions. But later they get it. If you disagree with everything I said, I accept that. Now lets continue living.

It is the unlearning that we keep coming back to learn until we wake up.
If our souls have risen to the final plane before oneness, we are all forgiving and non-judgemental.  However, as we each are on an individual journey of the soul and are on different astral planes of soul evolution and learning the life lessons on each return that will eventually bring us to non-duality. there are souls who are here this life time to learn the application of justice in a fair and compassionate manner.  There are young souls who are not disciplined enough in awareness of unconditional love and forgiveness and as they return karma is applied to their life until they begin the awakening.  This is the order of life until our awakening and time and space are no more. It is the Holy Spirit and the example of Jesus that places us on the fast track to unconditional forgiveness, rochma, and non-judgement and oneness.

Good intentions
If every living person held this view we would have heaven right here and now but having too much mercy and no justice on the merciless can be equally merciless on their future victims.  Absolute altruism is weakness that leads to the suffering of innocent people.  Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil is the way of the deaf, blind and dumb.  Balance is the key to meaningful life.  Compassion sometimes needs to be stern to guide ignorant people out of suffering.  It is good to have many people holding your view of no judgement and I agree that we should not judge on the basis of personal preference, but when other peoples actions continuously have unwholesome fruits for themselves and their neighbors, they should be stopped.  To not do so is being "good" for the sake of being perceived as being good.  In itself this is evil.  Personally I would rather be perceived as evil whilst doing what is good in the long run.
