Treason and Other Myths
It hardly sounds treasonous for a United States senator to express an opinion to military officials, or even officials of a foreign government.  Of all major candidates for president or vice-president, only Governor Palin has never met the leader of another nation, and no doubt most of them have had discussions with foreign leaders.  Short of promising aid to, say, terrorists (or "freedom fighters" a la Ronald Reagan), this doesn't measure up to the Constitutional definition of treason.  But maybe, as a conservative, you prefer the medieval definition:  whatever the monarch says it is?

THE CONSTITUTION SAYS CONGRESS SHOULD DECLARE WAR

I think maybe Obama is wanting to respect Congress, away from the autocratic path that the Bush Administration has taken.

Possibly Mr. Obama will comply by his oath of office as President of the United States of America, where Herr Bush has violated that oath to "uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America"

Every statement you and your cohorts make tends to make you look more and more like Hitler's Brownshirts.
