I am so sorry. I did not know it was that bad. It has been on the TV but has not reported it to be as bad as it is. Bless you. I am proud you have a generator and cash. I will be praying for all of you. Be blessed.

Ariala......
I found out on Sunday...that you can't find a simple battery operated radio.......I had a manager of a Kroger's store tell me to buy an IPOD base station because it had an AM-FM radio and it also ran on batteries...It was $59.......I told here I didn't have an Ipod and didn't want to spend that kind of money for a simple radio......She leaned forward and said...."keep the box and you can bring it back!" I was blown away.....I thanked her but said no. I then remember that a couple of boomboxes in the closet also ran on batteries.....so I stopped at SAMS and picked up their "Pallet Pack" of C cells.....so I am set!

for you! BTW, I have a small battery operated television I got that I would recommend...Also, get a weather radio...then we can call you a true Patriot. LOL
