I think the death sentence is a bit extreme for bad programming.
"Good" and "Bad" are so much in the eye of the beholder. Thing is, if they were catering to my taste, there'd be no fishing channel, no golf channel, very little chatter about sports statistics and records. And that (my sons and other guys tell me) would just be wrong. And at least one of my sons would get rid of the "damn decorating shows" which I enjoy.

Killing comes so easily to some. Another shooting in KC today and I don't think it had anything to do with bad programming. But then, one never knows for sure.
