I'm laughing...
as the mom of the kid who wanted to play with lions and tigers--and did! As the keeper of ferrets, turkeys, a pygmy goat, multiple cats, several dogs, rats, birds, uncounted fish... a snake, couple of Jackson chameleons and some anoles (liked the crickets better)... I'm sure I have left out some... Oh, yeah, the rabbits... My daughter brought a lot of things home, and we made room for them. Okay, I brought the horse home, and most of the cats, and fish...
When she was in college, she took a year to train as a zoo tech at a big-cat refuge.
