a dvd called "Murderball", it's all about the U.S. paralympic rugby team, all wheelchair-bound but man, you would hardly know it.....

I did not know this went on...its truly incredible... and you are right, hard to look at at first, but after the first impression you can't help but feel hukbled by their courage. Great post.
