Is there anything people won't sue for in the US? It's too late now, but I should have practised law there instead of Europe. On second thoughts...perhaps not.

Yet another human being so eaten up with selfishness, callous disregard for others he can't see his part in this. If he wins this the world is worse off than I expected. Where is his suit for murder.

There was actually a real case where the "hiter" sued the pedestrian for damage on his car. Can't remember who won. Better have an insurance for accident, even the pedestrians!

Hit-and-run mentality is an ugly part of humanity.  Fortunately, there is a much greater
percentage of persons who accept responsibility for their actions and who care about what
happens to the victims of such accidents.
