Representatives
If any of those who currently claim to represent God were taken seriously by the majority of people they would have to run and hide.  Fortunately most people perceive them to be merely representatives of specific human traditions and not representatives of God.

Even if
some single human representative of God would appear, he/she'll get assaulted and shot in no time.  I think I've heard a rather old story along these lines before...

Re: Your comment and your short bio

First, thank you for commenting, Mousehop! Your comment seems logical enough, but I can not believe that, of all the observations that there are many reasons to support a belief in a God, you, as an atheist can not find even One! You, as an atheist, by definition, state that "there is no God, period."  In your Bio you list as your favorite quote: "All generalities are false!" Isn't this statement that there is no God a classic generality?  How do you rationalize thsse seemingly conflicting expressions? Or could you just be "making fun" of the statement that "all generalities are false?"

At any rate, we shall all know after the end of our short physical lives. Then, again, if the atheists are correct, we will even then know nothing at all!

The Basis of Science
In answer to your question, yes, if God appeared, it would silence every unbeliever I know.  We base our conclusions on observation.  If we saw any reason to believe in God, we would believe.  We try very hard not to jump to conclusions based on our untested assumptions, and we modify our thoughts based on new data.  So, when is this God appearing?  I want to be on hand with my camera.

He is right! I love having the Lord on my mind all the time. He has done great things for me in my life and I would never abandon Him!  sam

Re: So very real

Ever put yourself in God's position? He has every right to feel "Damned if I DO and Damned if I DON'T!!" So, He does as He MUST!

I have been reading your own posts, and I very much do respect your opinion!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment of your own time to comment! As you know, we writers just "live" for that!
