Re: Send 'em here

I know majroj. They are forwarded all the videos about puppy mills being raided, etc. that I am sent, but, to no avail..........I will send them your link and hope that it influences them in the future. Good luck with that, benzinha......

Thanks for reading and for sending the link, maj.

Re: it's all for prestige they won't love their animals any more for the cost

I know, kabu, scheduled lives, multi-tasking babies, poor things.

I remember my favorite time was my FREE time.......parents hate the running around, too, but won't change anything. Silly things.

The little expensive dog, if it had been free and of the same breed, that they are not allergic to, would have been just as adored, it's true.

My son, on the other hand, will adore this dog, but has plans for its training and all that. Harrump.

they paid. I bet no doggies are more loved or cared for than your three. I won't have a cat or dog at present because I'm too unsettled to care for it properly, and we may have to go back to Aust. for a time.

Houses & improvements it's all gone crazy I don't understand the kids either. My grandchildren are given expensive toys and never play with them. They can't when they are never home. It's soccer and netball and cricket and dancing. Swimming and gymnastics. Piano and etc.

I imagine they think the house will sell for a lot more

than they are putting into it.  They might be right.  But my son-in-law and daughter took months to sell their house, one of those estate models, plus the hot tub, the home theater, the security system...  They finally sold it after lowering the price twice.

My other daughter improved her condo considerably, but ended up renting it out instead of selling it.

Better luck to your kids!

As to dogs...  I am with you entirely on that!
