Life is funny. There's so much crap in the

Oh my.
That's wonderful. As someone who has lived in Quebec for a while, I can certainly understand her difficulties and courage for attempting that course. Congratulations.

and a great diplomat, because as an ex-anglophone quebecker, your daughter made me slightly less disgusted with everything pertaining to Quebec.

That's awesome! She sounds like an amazing person to overcome (and excel) at such odds. The instructor sounds a bit of a burke though!
