Good luck with the non smoking, Sira.  I stopped 6 years ago and I still love walking past the smokers outside buildings and taking a deep breath.   Toast and grapes sounds good.   At the moment I am eating grapes and drinking beer - not a bad combination.  I'm thinking of frozen garbage for tomorrow and more beer - we'll see.

Take care of that strep throat.  No wonder you are covered by a blanket - I would be too if my cat did that to me.

Hope you
feel back to normal real soon! My Kitty does that too, only a year and a little bit old, he is suddenly up the cutains or screens, but you can only go so far!  Whatcha gonna do from there?  He backs down and leaps!  I am afraid he will leap over the veranda wall.  Surely he knows better...  Take care Sira Dear,

Re: GEt better Sira!
Yes, ginnie, I'm certainly not having much fun with it. But, "This too shall pass", and I'll be back on my feet in no time.

Re: Sira

Naut,

Yes, Mark was right (this time), and it's good that I got it checked out. The quitting is still going well, although I don't think I'll ever be getting a tee-shirt for running any place!

You may be on to something with the feline bad dream, but I'm quite certain it had nothing to do with my legs--they're as smooth as ever, thank you very much!

Re: My sympathies on the cold/flu/strep. Hate that stuff.

Thanks Pat, I'm already starting to perk up a bit--I've never been a lover of tea, but I've been downing the vitamins and orange juice.

GEt better Sira!
Strep throat is awful stuff!  I used to get it every time the season changed and wow is it nasty! THat's funny about your cat...although not so funny to get clawed like that!  You take it easy now and rest up good!  Hopefully you'll have kicked the ciggie habit by the time you're completely well...that would be a bonus right?

Sira

Good for Mark that he insisted! Strep throat can lead to all kinds of nasty stuff, more so than the flu! And good for you that you're almost a non-smoker, though I shall hold off with the congrats until you are a complete one!

As someone who's been there, done that, and even has T-shirts he wouldn't have had if he hadn't quit (like real, earned T-shirts from real, 42k Marathons) I can tell you it is absolutely worth it and probably the single best thing you can do for yourself, ever...And I'll keeping my fingers crossed for you...

And your cat probably had a nightmare of being attacked by a dog - maybe you hadn't shaved your legs for a while, what with being sick and all...

I'm a big believer in green tea with honey when your health is out of sync. As for the kitten, I could see the little rocket bouncing off the walls. Good narrative! I'm still chuckling about the little thunderball.  Hope you feel better very soon.

Sorry about your illness.  I hate feeling like that.
Pitiful is twelve years old and she still has sudden episodes of bouncing off of the walls.  Do they ever outgrow it?
