Who was it that said that money was the root of all evil... I can't recall now but it is absolutely true... Your post is fantastic 101... I will read the other two installments now... Thank you for all the time and inspiration you put into this posts.

Like an arrow, to the point.
I have just spent 35 days with people with money and spending it their only goal in life. They are generous, but not without a price, telling others how to live and having a captive audience. I feel the prison doors were opened when they went home.

Interesting
Since most of us no longer hunt or forage for food, the use of money is a necessary evil. But you are correct that the elite have corrupted the system for their own ends. The question is, what are those ends?

I often wonder if those in power realize that the struggling worker is essential to their existence. Where would they be if all the farmers and severs and caregivers gave up and just followed their own pursuits? Who would supply the day to day needs?Would they know how to play life's survival game? I agree it is not all about money but riches in glory from the essence of being one with All and the Almighty.

I don't see money itself as a problem
But the love of money is.
I work, and I value the lessons of doing so, I value the lessons in discipline and persistence, and patience. I also value the challenge of new problems to solve and the exercise this gives my mind when work is busy, and when work is quiet I value the space to ponder puzzles of my own choosing.
I do earn well too, and in the past I spent along with everyone else, entranced in this year's shiny tat, but now most of that has long since been discarded. Now, the money that is left after bills and living expenses is given to somebody who needs it. I admit that there was a little discomfort in making that decision - conditioning teaches us to love money, but now the money is gone I don't miss it. I also feel that there was a lesson in this.
I am not ashamed of making money, but I am not that bothered by having it either. It is simply a means, not an end.

It's all about the money. That is why so many dream of winning the lottery. Thinking it will solve all your problems. It can't buy you love or health. Funny how easy it is to get used to a little more money and so hard to have less.
