Re:
I actually live in a unique area, 5 acres close to I75 yet near commercial and agricultural zoned land. But many of my poems I wrote either in N Carolina, in the mountains, or in upstate NY, my mom's front porch (as with this last one). She lives in the country, yet near an interstate. Thanks!

Nice poem :-) You live in a neat place... Traffic and roosters? wow... are you from Miami??? loll just kidding... we have some houses here in residential Miami neighborhoods that raise chickens and in the mornings, in the middle of the city buzzing...you can hear them cock-a-doodle doing ...its a strange surreal sound... specially at 5:30 in the morning on Sunday... but hey :-) It is what it is. Good job!
