Sunny: We live in a world of selfish beings. Very often their positions, in their minds, are not subject to challenge. We just have to play our part so we may deter them form imposing their will.

You are absolutely right Sunny...  being pro-life should encompass all life... I think that  killing innocent animals is just as criminal as killing innocent babies.  All life is sacred. I can not imagine someone protesting abortion and not saying anything about the slaughter of baby seals... but at the same time I can not imagine someone going to protest the extermination of wolves and supporting abortions of human babies.  We are all the whole universe and ALL life should be sacred.  Inconvenience of conception should not be an excuse...neither should be overpopulation of any type of animal.  Great post!

Sunny, the harp seal hunt every year up in the Arctic is another cruel
slaughter, just for money....sad!

I heard about this in relation to Gov Palin's support of aerial hunting of

wolves and bears.  I googled it, and found several sites about it.  Appalling.
