Hey, these sound to me like excerpts of a diary.
By the way, I had a similar experience of unexpected money on an unexpected article. Years ago, I had written a series of questions on the status of children and said something to the effect that these are what we need to look at to understand the status of children and do something about it. The local papers pay peanuts and some of my friends even made fun of me saying that article is no article as it has nothing but a string of questions. And guess what> A week later, I had a call from the UNICEF saying they wanted to use my article and could they do so and were apologetic that they were not paying me so much for it, as it should get due to some budget constraints. But even that much was five times what I got from it from the local paper.:-)
