- Go to And in London: Cars Made to Measure...
If you can afford to pick out a car
like you would any other fashion accessory, then I say go for it!
When I've made my fortune (scoffscoff), after I've bought houses and made some sound investments, I might be tempted to "try on" a car or 3!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to be getting back to reality...

Nautikos, that kind of doesn't matter to me now, but I would have loved it in 1957.

All sorts of thoughts pop into my head.
Like how would the Butt Bird look in one and is this really an excuse to see if the fat person fits. Do a bum measuring so to say. Or if one can be seen from behind when they are driving. Ever sat behind a car that appears to be driving by itself??? Actually all that interest me beyond the clour is the size of the boot for my shopping bags.

You know what happen when women try to find a pair of shoes that fit well and look good too, don't you? I can just imagine all the "boxes" one over the others to the ceiling!LOL I think I'll stick to my imagination when it comes to what I might look like in a car.

Naut
I drive a four door sedan and Mr. T always tells me that the "jacket" I'm wearing portrays an old lady.... Does the
fitting room also provide you with some money so you can buy the right fit?

It may not be the best sales pitch...
The ads all show beautiful people driving and leaning against the latest car model. We like to think we'll look that good, too. But the mirror may give the lie to that last delusion... Unless the prospect actually happens to be young and cute.
My daughter used to get ticked off when she saw an "old guy" of 40-something driving a sports car. Those are for young guys, the old trolls are just using a car to pick up on young girls, she'd say. And I'd argue maybe this was the first time they could actually afford one. It's an ongoing debate, but now that she's 40, her definition of an old guy has jumped 20 years...
