I love your thoughts. I would like to suggest as we define something we create an intention. So I send the energy of love, kindness, and peace of mind, while I take non-violent actions in the world. If someone yells at me in traffic I dont need to defend, attack back, or teach a lesson. mystiik

Redefining Good and Evil
I would like to have the words Good and Evil defined as:
Good; Those actions that lead to wholesome, peaceful living for all possible current and future generations.
Evil; Everything that does not contribute to the above.
As far as I'm concerned, that is what they have been about al along but unfortunately some people have thrown hatred and deceit into the picture and used these words for their own perceived short term gain. One of the aims of any worthy religion should be to promote these aims.

I am sorry my punctuation was not clear. Real evil ? Is revenge logical ? In prisons all killings are justified. To err is human to forgive is divine. Non violence need not be giving up. See the references for Martin Luther King, Gandhi and many other activists and leaders who took passionate action for justice-balance-equality.

what is the difference?
What's the difference between the kind of "evil" that's merely a perspective or judgment, and the "real evil" you also cite? How do you know which is which?
