The more I learn about her the more it becomes clear that she was chosen first and foremost because she is an attractive woman.

I view the entire process as entertainment and am never dissapointed in what a pack of liars these big money politicians are. Sarah Palin and how she is being presented by the Republicans makes one wonder if they really believe the general populace is that friggin stupid?
Where I agree that to drag her pregnant daughter into the political fray is unwarranted, let us not forget how Bristol ended up center stage in the presidential race. Specifically by her mother giving her own ambitions priority to her daughter's privacy, which was just one more bad parenting move by a person that has a long list of such bad moves. This is a woman that preaches abstinence instead of birth control for young people and has fought sex education proponents in her state at every turn. It was one of her governor race platforms as a matter of fact: "Q. Will you support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education instead of for explicit sex-education programs, school-based clinics, and the distribution of contraceptives in schools?"
Palin: "Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support."
What becomes relevent from this are two things, first as I mentioned in her lack of consideration for her own daughter over her political ambitions, then her obvious lack of judgement.
