Is your lovely bride a yard sale addict like Marilyn?

If yard sailing is your REAL problem, there is no hope. Only a house and purse fire can save you from being killed in an avalanche of cr......stuff! Sorry to break it to you like that, but there is no way to lay the bad news on you but to just do it quick and dirty, like yanking off the band-aid fast. Drawing things out only makes it worse.
You have my sympathy pal, and if it makes it easier on you to tell yourself that all that stuff is breeding at night, cling to that thought. Self-delusion actually does help, I know, I have been indulging in it for YEARS!

                    socks.
My house has developed nearly-bare spots since I realized that all the useful stuff didn't have to go to the dump, but could be donated.  Each time I go through a bunch of boxes of Stuff, I haul out more and more bags of useful things that I myself really never will even want to use.
And I discover some things have actually crossed the line all the way to Trash!

Can we stop those night parties by keeping the lights on?  Having just recently moved I was forced to observe my personal hard and fast rule – If I haven’t thought about, looked for it, or used it over the past year, out it goes.  Yup… I even got rid of a few trophies.  But not the shoes….

I love the idea of the nightly party. I`ll pay close attention to the nightly noises by now and if I hear anything, anything at all...I`ll be at them like a flash (to join in, of course)
