- Go to SEEDLESS WATERMELON?
Whacky
I bought one of those today! There are still seeds in them, tiny ityy bitty ones, but they're not seedless at all! There's just no truth in avertising! I think I'm gonna send mine back, or what's left of it, and If I get really upset at this deception, I'll send them the portion I ate...

, and a scratch behind the ears for =^..^=,

How about having water melon seeds not only with different colours, but with numbers on them? You could then have a game the
spitting image of pool?

I hear they're trying to invent a square (cube) watermelon, so shipping
will be easier. All that hybridizing and messing with Mother Nature's going to have consequences. I guess it's the fogey in me, but I like the way food used to taste before they started "improving." Oh, well.

I have to admit -- they are tasty.
But you're right; half the fun is spitting seeds.
On the other hand, a seedless is perfect for "plugging" -- you know, cutting a hole in and pouring a bottle of rum in it for a crazy snack two days later...

Fancy that. I saw seedless watermelons for the first time in my life and, of all places, in Turkey. And, you are right, they have those disgusting little white pimples which tried to become but failed to turn into proper seeds. Let`s spit away anytime, I love watermelons!!

The trick with seedless melons is that next season, you must buy more seeds! Hi!

I was thinking the same...
They do have seeds only they are white and not so noticable when you swallow them.
I prefer seedless when making fruit salad...it's a pain picking out all those seeds

seedless is a good idea but it takes away from the real meaning of a watermelon, they should change the name
