Would Biden have been picked if it had not been for Georgia
As an independent I look at both sides, and weigh both sides.  Obama and McCain gave similar answers when ask about their values at Saddleback Church. Both have high values that we should all try to attain. The difference I saw was that McCain could give examples of a life lived trying to attain his highest beliefs.  Obama gave wonderful answers of values to aspire to and what he would like to to.  The 5million answer was a response to give me a number after he had stated that to him rich meant a family with a home and attaining their goals and happy and secure and being able to pass this to their children and grandchildren. Obama does have wonderful goals but without bringing our collective consciousness together as one, in one effort to attain these goals HOW does he do it. At least Sarah Palin can present a resume of how she took on corruptness within her own party and the "good ole boys club" and won.  She has the nuts and bolts of HOW to get things done.   By the way when the Dems say McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time, the statistics will show that All of congress has voted with Bush 90% of the time.  Also, the same beliefs about Iraq have be documented on film of both Clintons, and other high members of his Cabinet. If they believed the intel when they were in the White House, how did all this info suddenly become disinformation when Bush took office and we were attacked.  I agree mistakes were made but the surge has made it possible for us to be able to leave.  Why didn't Clinton take out Bin Ladin when he had a chance?  He was delivered to him on a platter. Have you listened to Obama when he talks off the cuff?  He can contradict himself within the same sentence.  His ideas are good and yes, we need change but HOW is he going to get there.  He spent more time out of the Senate than he did in the Senate.  Where is his experience?  Will he not have to serve at his master's feet(Joe Biden) to learn?  He said he wouldn't have a VP who he had to consult before he made a decision and then he picks someone who he will have to consult whenever the Russians want to play chicken.  At least Palin has experiece with dealing with the Russians on fishing rights in the waters between Alaska and Russia.  She won't flinch or back down.   If Obama can't control his own convention without giving in to Clinton, how will he make his decisions in the Oval office? Words must be followed by action.

Dallas...COME ON! LOL...The choice of McJackass should show his capacity of irrationality. Making an irrational choice to get what it is he wants. What other choices out of desperation will he make to get what he wants in the white house. What else will he do for what he wants? Making a case to get Americans on board that does not really help any one except for himself. DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR???? The Iraq war! The government gave us all types of false allocations about that country...and it shifted from Osama to Sadam. The choice should prove he is not out for the better good of society but his selfish interests.

Re:
Desperation????   Normally he should be 15-20 points down immediately during and after the DEM convention.......Even famous losers like McGovern, Ducacus, and Mondale were up by such numbers......during the convention McCain actually pulled briefly ahead!   The O-man is in trouble......so put your kool-aide down and realize that I consider McCain's choice an excellent "marketing" ploy....that's how it works....you're selling a product.   And trust me the Obamamessiah is the master of using said  "marketing" ploys......

AAAAAAAAND! Corbin dallas Mr. it is still a marketing tool. NO matter if the 5 mill was joke or not. HE does not care about women! YOu actually think that he cares about the come up of women in society!? Come on! Are you going to let them pull the wool over your eyes and allow this choice of his VP to be seen as an actual interest of the citizens of this country! IT A MARKETING TOOL! That is it, nothing more nothing less. And if you are going to come to me and condemn me of lies...please sir look at the blog. Do not try to bisect it with petty in sites you see as important. Just see it for what it is and simply that his VP choice is how he will govern. Thinking we are all a bunch of idiots and would not see that his choice was made out of desperation.

A man that thinks the middle class American makes under 5 million dollars
Ya know....I don't mind when a supporter or a detractor uses something that was actually said or done as a political weapon......but this remark is based on a lie.......this was part of a joking answer given to Rick Warren...McCain even said this was going to be used by the left...and their minions who blindly keep spreading it......
