Yes, my husband has ADD, especially if I hand him anything over one page long and he mostly sets it aside with a "uh-huh."

I know the feeling...
Several of the people who are closest to me are writers, and 1 hundred times more talented than me, so I always dread them reading anything of mine. I too have heard those words, and the surprise or pride in them rather, and there's nothing better to hear...
