Your favorite American beer is Busch? That's confirmation: I knew you were allright.

cantey_1975 - Re: What type of beer did they bring back?
In our neck of the woods we have controlled alcohol distribution from two primary outlets. "The Beer Store' is the actual name of the multi-national conglomerate that sells beer from the major brewers. "The Liquor Store" is the name of the corporation that sells the hard stuff (I'm not kidding, really). . . . The Liquor Store also sells beer but mostly concentrates on imported brands. As you know I have an affinity for American brands when it comes to beer, so when I say I'm going to The Beer Store, I'm actually going to the Liquor Store to buy American beer . . . except it isn't really Amercian beer in most cases, it is American beer brands brewed under license by Canadian brewers.
So, my favorite "American beer" is Busch, the official beer of Nascar which is brewed about a mile away from me, I like Old Milwaukee as well, it's brewed about an hour away.

Excxellent! I use your words to demonstrate: Wanting for something to be true can be an extremely compelling motivation allowing the individual sometimes to overlook the obvious in favor of the desired conclusion How profound! sam

Sunnybeach7 - Re: Sometimes, when I'm lying in bed sleeping...
I've had similar experiences, even had a conversation with the devil once in a dream. I congratulated him for inventing alcohol.
But seriously, I think we can all relate something similar in terms of experiences. Professionals in the field of dream psychology would have a better description of what happens with us in a biophysical sense but it's safe to say that there are so many variants in our mental and physical state in conjunction with the different levels of sleep we experience that some weird things are bound to happen.

Sometimes, when I'm lying in bed sleeping...
I hear someone calling my name. Sometimes I can identify the voice as my mother, yet I know it is not my mother...else when I wake in a state of confusion and say "What?", someone would actually answer me.
