It happens in the filling. My son worked at a milk processing plant, actually discusting how he smelled when he got off work. I always said take your shower at work. sam

Maybe that's the reason "Monk" is afraid of milk!
Wipe off the lip of the carton/jug befor you put it back in the frig. It helps.
