I don't dream. I would probably go insane if I did! I tend to internalize things and so the nightmares would probably do me in! Glad I don't have them after this eerieness of yours. sam

I had an episode once
where I woke up in the middle of the night for some unknown reason, but could not move one single molecule in my entire body. At first I totally FREAKED out, but then I quickly realized it for what it was, and calmed myself down. I told myself just to ignore it and go back to sleep and everything will be back in line in the morning. I must have done a GREAT job of convincing myself because I fell right back asleep. And sure enough, by morning I was all back in sync again...

I used to work for an ear, nose, and throat doctor and it sounds like what you're experiencing is sleep apnea. You should get that checked out b/c (not to scare you but just friendly advice) it can be life-threatening since your body is deprived of oxygen during that time you can't wake yourself up. I think Reggie White died b/c of sleep apnea.
