TAPS, I am waiting eagerly to hear the rest of that story!

Nothing like it anywhere else.  The last time I took pictures of it, the camera with the film still in it ended up in the bottom of the white water rapids of the Green River.

Re: It was right under those trees walking among the HooDoos.......

And did you start the company actually?

Yes, I have been through Moab many times, and Arches thrice...  Canyonlands once, to the Island in the Sky, and also Newspaper Rock.  And Dead Horse Point.  The Southwest is just about my favorite part of this country!

Re: Ciel

So what's your excuse for not going, then, Naut?  Get in your car and start driving!  Or catch a good Southwest Airlines fare to Salt Lake City, rent a car and drive south--I'll lay out a route for you  that will keep you amused.  Heck I will pick you up in Salt Lake City, and drive you there...

Tell your boss you need a mental health two weeks...

Tell your wife you're taking her on a magical mystery tour, and to pack for anything!

I'll find my chauffeur/adventure hat.

Sam and Shelly, thanks!
You should definitely go... again, for you, Sam!  It is a marvelous place, magical and a real vacation from the world, to go down into the spires and the glow!

I am sitting here at my desk, surrounded by paper, and I look at that breath-taking scenery you show so beautifully in your photography - and I don't wanna sit here any more, and I wanna go there...
