Re: mousehop
What is so evil about "unbelief?"  Nothing.  Nor is there anything evil about belief.  Each is a product of one's experiences and thoughts.  Either can be accurate or inaccurate.  But "evil"
is rather serious business, as if "warfare".  I don't call you evil for believing in something.  I just disagree with you.  In this post, I disagree with your assertions about the need to believe, and certainly about believing in anything supernatural being inherent in humans (which is a flat contradiction by my definition of natural; what is there and experienced is obviously natural.  You might want to find a better word for the phenomenon you're talking about.)  But thank you for the compliment implied in your discussion of my enlightenment and acumen.

I do intend to keep reading, and as my flippant approach to comment appears to rile and offend you, I will try to behave myself.

I have a healthy relationship with God that has taken years to develop. All I would ever say is that those without Him do not understand what they are missing! sam

There is nothing challenging about my blog, so don't excuse your insults with that. I believe what I believe strongly and people read whatever they will into that. All this hostility you claim is inherant in my "definitions" is you projecting your own hostitlity. There are no "flaws in my reasoning" since I did not arrive at my faith by "reasoning".

If you find that to be so offensive, pitiful, and beneath contempt,  then there is no reason for you to even read my blog at this point other than to indulge your obvious juvenile, bullying, and punkish disposition. I see that you are 45 years old, I don't know if you have always been like this or if it just a byproduct of your midlife crisis.

One of the benefits of reaching a superior level of enlightenment does not include an entitlement to make people, whom you have deemed to have yet unshackle themselves from ignorance, your personal whipping posts. So in other words, and I mean this: show some manners or get lost. If you find that you cannot do this, do not even reply to this comment.

Re: Re: Seeing the Unseen
You say people like me are inherently evil, and you say there's no need to get salty?  You're right, of course.  I have been called many names over the years, and find most of them amusing.  But I figure with this sort of thing, you must be looking for opposition, as you throw out a challenge in the very name of your blog.  I can't generate much real animosity for you, just an amused pity, but I am happy to point out the flaws in your reasoning, the over-reaching in your pronouncements, and implied hostility of your definitions.  I mean, I also proved fingers for my daughter's kitten to pounce on and fight, because it makes her feel good.

Dude, no need to get salty about it. I'm glad that you are at peace with your beliefs. Thanks  for reading.

Seeing the Unseen
Sorry, Dude, but there is no spirit, and I am happy to believe only what is within the bounds of nature.  Now, you may condemn me in words all you like, but God won't.  I have the advantage over God.  Reality trumps fantasy.  But by rational definition unbelief is not faith.  I base my judgments on experience, mine and others', not on a will to believe.  You apparently choose to base your judgments on some man made dogma.  but we'll gladly welcome to back to the realm of truth if you ever find it.
