If there was no ignorance there would certainly be no science or religion.

Re: Ignorance is the best wisdom

Kayzz,

Human nature is a strange, vainity-riddled beast! It doesn't want to be "told" anything, but, at the same time, it can't stand to be "kept from the truth!!"

Your comments are always well-balanced, fair, and welcomed.

Re: Eternal Bliss
Great comment, mousehop! As for your last statement, I woulld say "yes, but I have an idea that if we were all born full of knowledge, we would RESENT it!!"

Eternal Bliss
This question reminds me of something I heard in a Sunday School class once.  The teacher asked what the first step in repentance was.

"Well, first you have to commit a sin," someone said.  Then, after a pause, he added, "So I guess sinning is good, then, right? since we're all supposed to repent."

But there is always going to be enough ignorance in our lives to keep us asking, at least in the foreseeable future of the human race.

fectively learn about them.  If you jump to a conclusion and decide it was right just because that's where you concluded, you may entirely miss the truth of reality.  If you admit that you think this, BUT... you still don't know, you can go back to the reality, which IS the truth, and make your interpretation of that truth more perfect.  Interpretations are just tools mankind uses to describe what exists.
