Re: Re: TAPS, there was a time we could not have found the money to do it--

Colorado is coming... we drove up I-70, through Glenwood Canyon, and over the mountains at Breckenridge, to come up Hwys 9 and 24 into Colorado Springs.

But I have to get you through Utah first!  There are some fabulous trails in Bryce Canyon, and I finally got to go down one... and up it, too!

Yes, Yes.  One can always remember.  Plus, now days, one can visit anyplace in the world on the computer and see beautiful photos of where you have been or where you would like to go.  I have been to Colorado so many times that I can't wait for you to post pictures so I can see if they are places I have been.

TAPS, there was a time we could not have found the money to do it--
Now we can, this time anyway.  In a future where we may not be able to, we will still be able to sit around and remember this time together, and laugh and share it all again!

KaBoom, it is great when the kids grow up
and still want to share their lives and adventures with us!

Re: Ciel

That's how I see it, Naut!  I forget money after it's gone... Money is just a battery for storing energy. Money is nothing until it is realized into something real.  Memories and experiences are real!

Good for you, Ciel.  Traveling with your son in such a beautiful country is worth whatever you have to pay for it.

This was so exciting to read!  I traveled with my son two years ago and your post brought back fond memoriesWe watched a TV program on World Heritage Sites and he said when he grows up, he'll take me to see some of those sights.  I was thrilled!  Thanks for that post!

The cost? To quote your own words back to you (because I couldn't have said it better myself, lol) "Hang the cost, go for the love of it, the adventure of it, the absolutely priceless togetherness of it!" So much of our lives is just memories, and you can be sure that Charlie will always cherish the memory of these days with his Mom...
