Naut, I would try!

It would certainly be easier than a digital SLR!

I got to try the Finepix in another cave--fooled around with the manual settings, to see what numbers worked, but went for the simple fix finally and used the auto and the natural color settings, and the ISO 400/auto sensitivity setting.  I dislike using flash, but in a cave it is a useful alternative--if I put a finger over the flash to just dim it down the right amount.

TAPS,
You are always with me when I travel, and when I take pictures--especially on a hike!  It is a pleasure to know you're there!

Ciel
Fantastic photos! Thanks so much. (And btw, I have begun looking at experts' opinions on the best SLRs, and my head's spinning, and it would be easy to get carried away, which I will not allow to happen, however. I am convinced that, in the end, the picture depends on the eye of the photographer behind the lens, and I'm sure you would create fabulous pictures with a box camera...)
