People can live above their names if they try hard enough and have the right attitude about it. Hey look at Condoleezza (or however you spell it). That's pretty much one of a kind.

Oh man!
Here in Mexico we have the same problem; so the trend is international!
I hate to be asking people... Excuse me, how do you spell your name? or Where's your name originally from?, but gthe thing is that I hate it not because if the fact of asking but because of the answers I receive....
There are so many unpronounceable names around and people have no clue! It is like a bar code we set on our children forever, and they will have to deal with it, not us parents. Why not just use normal, traditional names that can be easily understood?
I guess it's because they don't sound or look "cool".
Darn it!
