There are more than the seven you mention
although they may be the strongest. A grid of such lines and centers that form a definite geometric pattern has been dowsed and I'm sure that we will develop instruments that are capable of registering these as well (if someone doesn't already have such). I know dowsing seems airy fairy to many people, but I can dowse water and even though I was sceptical at first, I've become convinced by trial and error (a forked twig in your hands twisting against the applied force so that the fibres break is pretty convincing by itself) and cross referencing with drilling finds. Our bodies and minds are capable of more than the feats science currently recognizes and there are groups of people who have been refining their skills over thousands of years in this field of endeavor, so I will not find it too surprising if your stated suspicions are true although I doubt the public figures we all know are that much in the know.
