Your supermarket looks just like our supermarket, except for the funny signs, lol. And thanks for the recipe - I'm gonna make over the weekend, when I have a little time! And speaking of daikon - have you ever made pickled daikon? I can't remember the Japanese name for it (it may be
takuan), it tastes quite nice, but it smells horribly...
