Yep I'm with you on that TAPs. When I went to the US, Yosemite was right up at the top of my list of places to go and I think that was mainly because of Ansel's photos. I just loved seeing those views that he captured so well. There's a great PBS dvd documentary on his life which I full recommend.

That quote speaks as much as photographs do! :-)
And I liked TAPS' comment too. But I think I would hate to photograph what a skilled photographer did before me, cos it would give me a sort of inferiority complex!

I've always loved Ansel Adams' photographs. He has some real classics. I've always loved seeing those places in real life, taking my own photo and then comparing mine with his. He wins every time. LOL
