- Go to DID GOD'S "IMPERFECT DESIGN" KILL ALL THOSE BABIES??? WHAT GAUL!
Statistics and reality
Hm. So the "efficiency" of the human reproductive process is not flawed? Let's see now, if over 1 million babies are born each month in India, and there is a 99.7% efficiency, that comes to 3,000 babies a month. In India alone. Not counting the 1 in 4 conceptions resulting in miscarriage (or spontaneous abortion, as it is technically called), fully half of which are caused by fatal chromosomal abnormalities. That doesn't sound like great quality control or great design to me. But I don't blame God. I think, considering this is the result of random molecular motion, it's rather remarkable that the success rate is that high. Now if a God were involved, I might question His attention to detail.
