Re: Re: Interesting!!!
Ah... you're a science teacher. I'll come by and bounce this story idea off you sometime - you've raised an interesting question and now I have to find a (fictional) answer!

Cool.  I haven't had much interaction with aliens before.  They're almost as scary as humans.

Re: Interesting!!!
Thanks.  I also enjoy speculating about plausible origins for stories, but I try to keep them out of my professional life as a science teacher.

Interesting!!!
I know you're writing this from the perspective of pointing out myths that cannot possibly be true - and I'm with you on that - but I can't help thinking, hmmm.... so is there any possible fable or explanation for where all the water came from / went to - and how 2 of every species fit on something that could be construed as an ark... I guess I enjoy picking impossible myths and trying to come up with plausible (fictional) bases for them. Again, very thought provoking - thank you!

I've had similar conversations with people (including my former priest) where I insisted that the Bible was intended as a guiding metaphor.  They of course (especially Catholics - yes, I was raised Catholic) seem to think it's to be taken literally.  That there really is a Garden of Eden and Adam and Eve were actually two people that we ALL stemmed from.  Right....

Scary to imagine...WoW
It is very hard for me to accept that there are people like Emmanuel in this world.  Actually, there are many things about this world I find difficult to accept...I am an alien!

Interesting article ...

... faith is a strange 'thing' - truth is what you believe and faith is truth - it's going in circle and that's probably what doctors do, the difference is that they believe in the brain instead of a god.

After all, I find faith as a trap to be stuck in, not as a path for development -  - genio
